How do i know if my dog is having a false pregnacy?

I have a female Basset Hound that is only 7 years old in dog years. She is very sensitive to her belly and her nipples are enlarge. I'm not for sure if she is having a false pregnancy or not. I'm also not for sure when or was lactating. Also, I don't know how long She's been pregnant for. Please help me.
