Husband hates being in the military, how can I be supportive?

I also hated it when I first joined. Marines are hard on the new guys. You can't do anything right. You get treated unfairly. That's just the way it is. Things vastly improve once you pick up some rank. Also, things can go from bad to great or vice versa by going to another duty station or when someone that you work for comes or goes. The good thing (of bad thing depending on how you look at it) is that your situation changes rapidly.
